Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right therapeutic fit is important. Claire offers an optional free 15-minute virtual meet and greet prior to scheduling an initial appointment. This allows space to discuss current concerns, ask questions, review the therapy process, and ensure the relationship feels like a good fit for both patient and therapist.
During the initial session, Claire works collaboratively with patients to better understand presenting concerns, personal history, relationships, current stressors, strengths, and goals for treatment. Therapy is tailored to each patient’s individual needs and pace, with emphasis placed on creating a supportive, honest, and nonjudgmental environment.
Patients can expect a thoughtful, relational, and evidence-based approach focused on increasing insight, improving coping skills, strengthening relationships, and supporting meaningful and sustainable change.

Claire’s approach to therapy is warm, relational, and collaborative. She believes therapy works best when patients feel genuinely comfortable, understood, and supported, while also feeling challenged in meaningful and productive ways.
Her style is compassionate, honest, and individualized to each patient’s unique needs and experiences. Claire integrates evidence-based practices with a practical, down-to-earth approach that helps patients increase insight, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships and communication, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and self-understanding.
Claire values creating a space where patients can show up authentically without fear of judgment. She believes meaningful change happens through trust, connection, consistency, and a willingness to engage openly in the therapeutic process.

Claire is an Out-Of-Network provider for all insurance panels. Patients are responsible for full payment at the time of service; however, a super bill can be provided upon request for potential reimbursement through their insurance company.
This decision is made intentionally to support a more private, flexible, and individualized treatment experience. Being Out-Of-Network allows care to remain between patient and clinician without insurance company involvement in treatment decisions (such as limiting session frequency, requiring ongoing treatment justification, or restricting certain diagnoses or approaches). This structure supports greater confidentiality, clinical flexibility, and autonomy in care.
Being an Out-Of-Network provider also allows for more personalized and creative, evidence-based treatment planning that is not constrained by insurance requirements. Patients are able to determine the pace, length, and focus of treatment in collaboration with Claire, based on each patients unique needs and goals.
Fee information varies based on the type and length of service. Please reach out directly for current rates and to discuss options.
